Dr. Rajesh K. Gupta MD (Consultant Neurologist UT Health Physicians).

Rajesh Gupta, M.D., MS. joined the neurology department at UTHealth in 2019. He is involved in seeing patients of various neurological disorders with primary interest in neuroinflammatory and neuromuscular disorders such as multiple sclerosis, immune mediated neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, ALS etc.

Dr. Gupta graduated in 2004 from Sawai Medical College, Jaipur, India. He obtained his Doctorate in pharmacology in from University of Delhi and MS in Clinical research from Rush University, Chicago. He completed an Internal Medicine internship and residency in Neurology at State University of New York at Buffalo and served as chief resident in final year. Dr. Gupta completed a fellowship in neuroimmunology and neuroinfectious diseases (Advanced General Neurology) at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard University followed by fellowship in Clinical neurophysiology at Tuft University/ Lahey clinic and Boston Children Hospital.

Dr. Gupta is affiliated with Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical Center. He sees patients at UTPhysician Neurology Clinic and El Franco Clinic (Harris Health). His research interest are MS, neurosarcoidosis, vasculitis, drug induced neuropathies, myasthenia gravis and MS etc. He relocated here from the University of North Dakota where he was faculty in neurology and worked as neurologist at Sanford Health.
